The Millennium Alliance announces City of New York Chief Technology Officer Miguel A. Gamiño Jr. as Keynote at the upcoming Digital Enterprise Transformation Day on April 5 in New York City. Mr. Gamiño will address New York’s best technology and business leaders on how the City is making technology work for people through a municipal broadband initiative, smart technologies deployment. Mr. Gamiño will also talk about how the City is looking at new tools and technologies to improve lives and positively transform the public realm.

Under the leadership of Mayor Bill de Blasio, Mr. Gamiño is responsible for how the City uses technology to strengthen communities and serves as NYC’s ambassador to the technology industry to help NYC be more inclusive, equitable and tech-friendly. His leadership translates to a broad and complex portfolio of public infrastructure, digital initiatives and visionary strategy: broadband for all New Yorkers, smart urban technology and IOT strategy, comprehensive digital strategy that improves government service, and a program to transform the relationship between government and disruptors of industry.

Prior to NYC, Mr. Gamiño served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City and County of San Francisco and Executive Director of the Department of Technology. He served on the Intergovernmental Advisory Committee (IAC) of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) on behalf of Mayor Edwin M. Lee.

NEW YORK, December 15, 2015 – The Millennium Alliance (TMA) and The Advisory Council International (TACI) are teaming up to help bridge the gap between C-Level IT buyers and IT sellers and donate the profits to charity.

TACI’s new “Pay IT Forward” model is the first of its kind for the IT Industry. Senior IT executives and their teams are challenged with keeping up to date with the accelerated pace of new emerging technologies. Emerging vendors are equally challenged with communicating their message to the IT Marketplace.

To solve this dilemma TACI has created a new model that connects the two sides. This service is free of charge to IT organizations while 100% of the net revenues from providers are donated to charity. Here’s how it works:

A win for our members: Our team of former CIOs and Industry Experts continue to stay up to date on cool technology solutions, mostly through their extensive work with VC and PE companies. They will work with each member to identify their specific needs, and then arrange a 1-1 briefing session about once a month to discuss a new product or service that meets said needs.
