About Minsok Pak

Minsok is Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer for Mondelēz  International, a global company leading the future of snacking with 2020 net revenues of approximately $27 billion. In this role, he oversees a number of strategic growth areas critical to  company growth and industry leadership, including Enterprise Strategy, M&A and strategic  growth opportunities, new business, and e-Commerce and direct-to-consumer.  

Prior to joining the company, Minsok was Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Innovation  Officer at Target in the United States where he helped lead the development and  implementation of a highly successful growth strategy. He had oversight of Strategy & Planning, Insights, M&A/Business Development, and Innovation, all supporting the company’s drive for  omnichannel transformation. 

Minsok previously served as Senior Vice President for LEGO Group, where he led branded  omnichannel retail including e-Commerce in more than 20 markets. Minsok spent close to 20  years with McKinsey & Company where he was a Senior Partner holding a range of roles in the  US, Korea and Singapore, including Head of Asia-Pacific Sales & Marketing and other leadership  positions in Asia Consumer & Retail and North American Supply Chain practices. He also spent a  number of years as managing director of a private equity firm leading investments in packaged  goods and mobile technology, as well as working internally for McKinsey & Company, helping lead the digital transformation for the firm. 

Minsok holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Oberlin College and earned an MBA from  Stanford University. Minsok is passionate about music and multisport, serving as a member of  the Minnesota Orchestral Association Board and having completed 23 Ironman triathlons,  including four times at the World Championships in Hawaii. He also serves on the Board of  Trustees for Oberlin College.  

Retail Legend, Pauline Brown, Keynotes Our June Assembly!

On June 22-23rd, The Millennium Alliance will host a two-day think tank for C-Suite marketing and retail leaders to network and gain insights from thought leaders making waves in the industry. Day two of the event kicks off with a Keynote Address from Pauline Brown, a long time leader in retail and pioneer of the “business of aesthetics”. She formerly served as the Chairman of North America at LVMH Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton, where she led and innovated 70 brands across several sectors. She currently sits on the board for Neiman Marcus, and her areas of focus include: brand building, specialty retail, new business development, M&A, and corporate strategy.

About Pauline Brown

Pauline Brown is a longtime leader in the luxury goods sector. She currently is a Lecturer and Executive-in-Residence at Columbia Business School; the author of a business book, Aesthetic Intelligence, published by HarperCollins; and the host of a weekly radio show on SiriusXM, called Tastemakers. She formerly was the Chairman of North America at LVMH Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton, where she provided regional leadership for 70 brands in 5 sectors, including fashion & accessories, watches & jewelry, perfumes & cosmetics, wines & spirits and specialty retail. Earlier in her career, she held senior executive positions at The Carlyle Group, Avon and Estee Lauder. She began her career as a Management Consultant at Bain. Pauline received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School. She is 2008 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a former member of the Fellowship’s board of overseers. She currently sits on the boards of Neiman Marcus Group and Starboard Value Acquisition Corp.

Turney spent 16 years as president and chief executive officer of the nearly 8 billion dollar Victoria’s Secret brand (stores, direct, PINK, beauty), doubling the business and profit under her stewardship.
