The Millennium Alliance Commits Fully To In-Person Programs For 2023 And Beyond

NEW YORK – October 26, 2022 – The Millennium Alliance, an invitation-only organization for Senior-Level Executives and Business Transformers, in September of this year made its triumphant return to the in-person stage when they successfully hosted their first non-virtual C-Suite Assembly in two and a half years in Miami. The program was met with rave reviews across the board from members and partners and left those in attendance craving even more of these incredible in-person networking experiences. As a result, Millennium is continuing to stand behind its commitment to listening to the needs and desires of its community, as they announce its decision to pivot back fully to hosting in-person programs in 2023 and beyond.

She brings over 25 years of experience in clinical practice to the Assembly and is renowned for her excellence in practice and outstanding leadership.

About Karen Daley

Karen Daley, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, served from 2010 to 2014 as the president of the American Nurses Association, the nation’s largest nursing organization representing the interests of the nation’s 3.1 million registered nurses. She is a current member of the Board of Trustees of the American Nurses Foundation and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Barnstable Land Trust.

Daley spent more than 25 years as a front-line caregiver and staff nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston. She practiced for more than 22 years in the BWH emergency department until January of 1999 when she left due to a needlestick injury that resulted in her infection with both HIV and Hepatitis C. Since that time, she has been actively engaged in state, national and international levels as an advocate for use of safer needle devices in health care practice settings. Daley has traveled across the US as well as Europe, Australia, and Asia in her ongoing advocacy for sharps injury prevention. In recognition of her integral role in its passage, Daley was among those invited to the Oval Office to witness President Clinton sign the “Needlestick Safety Prevention Act” into law on November 6, 2000.

During her four-year tenure, Daley led and served as the spokesperson for the American Nurses Association, which represented the interests of 3.1M registered nurses. In 2011, while serving as ANA president, she was listed among Modern Healthcare’s “100 Most Influential People in Health Care” and, in 2013, was selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the “Top 25 Women in Healthcare.”

Daley holds a master’s in science, a master’s in public health, and a Ph.D. in nursing. She has been recognized with numerous awards for her outstanding leadership and excellence in practice. In 2015, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters by Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire, and Curry College In Milton.

The Millennium Alliance Prepares For Its Long Awaited Return To The In-Person Stage This Fall

NEW YORK – June 14, 2022 – The Millennium Alliance is excited to formally announce a definitive timeline for returning to the in-person stage, which will begin in September of this year. After 2+ years of organizing strictly Virtual Assemblies for its C-Suite Members, Millennium has locked in dates at 5-Star venues in Miami, Nashville, Denver, and Las Vegas to host their initial In-Person Fall Assemblies. 

Millennium is now priding itself on being the one-stop-shop for both In-Person and Virtual Assemblies. Society has clearly changed throughout the course of the pandemic and the sentiment of Millennium’s membership mirrors this. After extensive research into the needs and wants of its client base, about half of members and partners prefer the virtual format, given the convenience and lack of travel, while the other half talked of some virtual fatigue and a desire to get back to conducting business in a face-to-face environment. By hosting both live and virtual events, Millennium can offer its partners even more value than before through exclusive access to their entire community, as opposed to only half of its members.

Suja Chandrasekaran joins the Assembly with over 25 years of experience in building businesses in retail, consumer, manufacturing, and healthcare. Her specialties include risk management, ESG, and the employment of digital capabilities to drive growth and revenue. Suja currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer at CommonSpirit Health, where she leads the digitization of healthcare focusing on unleashing the power of data with AI to provide rich patient and provider experiences. Roselle Charlier is an energetic, creative and results-oriented executive with 20 years of healthcare marketing and communications experience, who values teamwork, embraces challenging business opportunities, and is committed to delivering on corporate objectives. She currently serves as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospitals and healthcare services.

Myers is currently the SVP and Chief Clinical Transformation Officer (CCTO) for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), driving clinical transformation across the BCBS system, through national networks, quality initiatives, and policy and advocacy positions. About Adam Myers

Before joining the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in September 2021, Myers served as the Cleveland Clinic’s chief of population health and director of the Cleveland Clinic Community Care program. This is where he provided leadership to a variety of clinical and residency programs, as well as the center for value-based research. Myers led the clinic’s care model redesign strategy, the community and public health strategy, and the Diversity Inclusion and Racial Equity Council. A New York City native, Myers is board-certified in family medicine and was in private practice in Oklahoma for more than 10 years. He served on the faculty of the University of Oklahoma obstetrics and gynecology department teaching obstetrics and has earned the status of Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives, The American Institute of Healthcare Quality and the American Association of Family Physicians. He holds additional board certification in healthcare quality management and patient safety and is a certified professional in healthcare risk management. He is past chair of the American Hospital Association board-level Committee for Clinical Leadership and has held board positions with both the Health Care Transformation Task Force and The Joint Commission. As Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Transformation Officer, Dr. Adam Myers collaborates with the chief medical officers across the 35 BCBS companies and leads the Office of Clinical Affairs (OCA) and the BCBS Institute. He is a longtime advocate for community health and health equity, Myers helps set the vision for the Blues’ efforts to create a more equitable healthcare system.
