NEW YORK – October 26, 2022 – The Millennium Alliance, an invitation-only organization for Senior-Level Executives and Business Transformers, in September of this year made its triumphant return to the in-person stage when they successfully hosted their first non-virtual C-Suite Assembly in two and a half years in Miami. The program was met with rave reviews across the board from members and partners and left those in attendance craving even more of these incredible in-person networking experiences. As a result, Millennium is continuing to stand behind its commitment to listening to the needs and desires of its community, as they announce its decision to pivot back fully to hosting in-person programs in 2023 and beyond.

About Ira Winkler

Ira is considered one of the world’s most influential security professionals and was named “The Awareness Crusader” by CSO magazine in receiving their CSO COMPASS Award and a “Modern Day James Bond” by the media. He did this by performing espionage simulations, where he physically and technically “broke into” some of the largest companies in the World and investigated crimes against them, and told them how to cost-effectively protect their information and computer infrastructure. In 2022, he was named Top Cybersecurity Leader by Security Magazine. Ira has designed, implemented, and supported security awareness programs at organizations of all sizes, in all industries, and around the world. He continues to perform these espionage simulations, as well as assist organizations in developing cost-effective security programs. Winkler began his career at the National Security Agency, where he served as an Intelligence and Computer Systems Analyst. He moved onto support other US and overseas government military and intelligence agencies. After leaving government service, he went on to serve as President of the Internet Security Advisors Group, Chief Security Strategist at HP Consulting, and Director of Technology of the National Computer Security Association. He was also on the Graduate and Undergraduate faculties of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. Ira has also won the Hall of Fame award from the Information Systems Security Association, as well as several other prestigious industry awards.

After 2+ years of organizing strictly Virtual Assemblies for its C-Suite Members, Millennium has locked in dates at 5-Star venues in Miami, Nashville, Denver, and Las Vegas to host their initial In-Person Fall Assemblies. 

Millennium is now priding itself on being the one-stop-shop for both In-Person and Virtual Assemblies. Society has clearly changed throughout the course of the pandemic and the sentiment of Millennium’s membership mirrors this. CIO Trailblazer, Stuart McGuigan, Keynotes Our Upcoming Assembly!

McGuigan is an industry leader with a background as the Former CIO for the US Department of State, Johnson & Johnson, CVS Caremark and Liberty Mutual. During the last administration, Stuart McGuigan was the CIO for the U.S. Department of State, a member of the Senior Executive Service, and the Assistant-Secretary level head of the Bureau of Information Resource Management on. Mr. McGuigan joined the Department of State from Johnson & Johnson where he was responsible for global Information Technology strategy and operations for an organization with 130,000 employees at over 170 overseas and domestic locations. With an established reputation for rapidly aligning technology innovation with global business needs, Mr. McGuigan brings over 33 year of industry background including experience as Senior Vice President and CIO of CVS Caremark, Senior Vice President and CIO of Liberty Mutual, and Senior Vice President of Information Services for Medco Health Solutions.

Mr. McGuigan earned a Master of Science and Master of Philosophy degrees in the Cognitive Science program at Yale University and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Fairfield University. In 2018, Mr. McGuigan was inducted into www.CIO.com’s CIO Hall of Fame, and he is the recipient of the “Lifetime Contribution Award” from NASSCOM—India’s top not-for-profit IT organization, enabling India’s growth of its $154 billion dollar IT-Business Process Management (BPM) industry.
